Certified Personal Fitness Trainer
Michael is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He also holds a specialization in Fitness Nutrition and Corrective Exercise also through NASM.
Michael fell in love with working out in a gym when he joined his first gym in the summer before high school. The real love for weightlifting would start during his first overseas deployment with the Navy where working out became a daily ritual. He would go on to complete a 4 year tour in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged after 2 deployments. He would regularly help educate fellow shipmates about fitness. As soon as he returned to the civilian life he started his study of proper nutrition and learning the science behind working out.
Michael’s start in personal training started in a commercial gym, training clients ranging from 12-78 years old throughout his time there. He focuses on not only walking a client through a workout, but helping them to form new habits with nutrition and daily practices. He is an adaptable trainer that can work with most injuries and conditions that people come with. He has worked with clients with conditions including but not limited to arthritis, heart problems, weak joints, vertigo, diabetes, broken bones, and much more.
“I love the feeling of accomplishment a client has when they have worked hard with one of my programs and start to see their efforts paying off with progress. I love passing on my knowledge on fitness and nutrition to help people transform their lives for the better.”
Michael is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at California State University, San Bernardino, with aspirations to go to medical school for Emergency Medicine.
